I always feel so irrationally angry. And not just the normal kind, it's almost scary how mad I get for no reason whatsoever. I've been staying home for the summer with my family, and as much as I love them, they don't understand me. Today, I had gotten into an argument with my sister, and I legitimately broke down. She had ended up calling me crazy. I got angry, too angry compared to the severity of what happened, and ended up leaving and crying in my car, scratching my neck and arms until they became bloody. I hadn't even realized I had done that. I dont understand why I get so angry.

And when I'm not scratching at my self and yelling and throwing things around, I'm quietly angry. I'm angry at everyone, at the world. I start thinking repulsive things, how much better I am than people because I see the world as the "poison" it is, it makes me angry seeing people happy or carefree. I dont know why. The thoughts I have about people make me so sad and it makes me feel like a horrible person. How do I fix this? How did I fix my thoughts? How I feel? I feel like I'm genuinely losing my mind. I've become resentful and scared of myself

I wish I knew the answer to this. Could be many things, I suppose, including depression showing as anger.

The best case (because rather easy to fix) would probably be your thyroid going wild - it can make you pretty crazy. Maybe you can have your thyroid levels checked. I'd make a list of any other 'symptoms' you can think of that you experienced lately and talk to your doc.

I understand how you feel all too well, feeling that level of anger fucking sucks. I'm the same way with viewing how shit the world is and my hatred for the people within it, just adds fuel to the fire, especially when you've seen firsthand how shitty people are. I wouldn't beat yourself up over feeling like a horrible person about it, everyone has thoughts like this, some people just hide it better than others. As for trying to fix it, I'd tell you if I knew myself lol. But as difficult as it may sound, try not to take things way too seriously. Shits gonna happen, people are gonna be stupid as fuck and its gonna suck, especially shit out of your control. Just stay strong, best of luck!

Thank you! I'll definitely look into it maybe being my thyroid. I'll talk to my doctor. He's a bit incompetent, he likes to just over medicate me and not give me advice or other solutions, but maybe some kind of medication could help in this situation. Thank you again, its very appreciated!

I'm glad to know I'm not alone with these feelings, but sorry you're experiencing it aswell. Exactly. When you've seen how horrible people are first hand, it's hard to see any other person in an unbiased light ever again.

Thank you, I'm sure your right. I've been a lot more emotional than usual lately, I think I might have to learn to just let things go and not take everything so hard. Thank you so much, best if luck to you too!
