• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Hello everyone.

Is it me or was N removed from the "suicide resources compilation" thread? Is there a more recent version of the PPeH.

I noticed that N has been forgotten for a year or two, as if there were no sources (except maybe finding some while traveling).

What about PPH and PPeH? Are there even newer versions available? You know that not everyone can access it (you must be over 50 years old for Exit International, with proof of identity and selfie).

For people who have the most recent version of the PPH or PPeH. Are these books still about N?

To say that N was the holy grail for leaving peacefully, on your own.

Cordially.

The 2024 version has not made its way here as of yet. N is no longer very accessible, so therefore having a megathread revived over and over again, when most of the time (exceptions happen, I know) people are getting scammed, doesn't make a whole lot of sense. People here have even apparently traveled to Peru and other countries and most just wasted a ton of money.

I can't speak on what is contained within the newest version of the PPH, as I have yet to see it. Someone of age would need to get access and essentially screenshot every page. Lotta work. I doubt much is different in '24 vs '22 minus more info on the Sarco pod.

N is a busted flush these days. Unless you get extremely lucky on a trip to South America, forget it.

speaking of the Sarco pod, I think that's going to be held up in red tape for years if ever it becomes accepted unfortunately. The reaction to it in Switzerland atm is very negative.

Are you in Switzerland? Only asking because I have been curious about the fall out since the arrest(s) after the use in the woods (there are news article easily found on this) — because obviously we know about what happened but not what has happened since the arrest and I imagine some of us are curious

Translate in english or search same translated titles with search engines.

Here sources in French I found in any cases for Sarco usage in Swiss problems (september, 2024)

Finally found sources in English:

Apparently, it's inert gas (Nitrogen), used inside, the problem against chimical products laws.

No I'm not in Switzerland but I've been following it closely. Nitschke and those involved all ended up arrested and the pod confiscated. I think as a medical professional is not required to be there and looking further ahead they have plans for you to be able to print your own sarco there's real concern on abuse.

Personally I'd still choose the Pegasos/Dignitas route were it available to me over Sarco.

I always wondered about this aspect of how exactly they were going to source a regular supply of pure nitrogen for the Sarco pod. I can't imagine many gas companies that supply it being on board with their product being used for that purpose.

I guess with nitrogen being such a necessary product in a lot of industries a crackdown on its availability would be difficult I imagine.

But what do I know.

Pegasos/Dignitas coast 13000-14000$ 12000-13000€ (10000CHF, Swiss Franc device constantly increase), WITHOUT TRAVEL AND HOSTELS (you add also).

In addition, you staying in Swiss for two Weeks minimum now (new laws, because of pro-lifes harrassements) between two doctor consults, before VAD (Assisted suicide).

Add another restrictions like if you are very ill or not, not only mental ill (very very difficult to have autorization for assisted suicide without big verification of your mental pain).

Thanks pro-lifes' prison!

The laws in Switzerland haven't changed. Only the guidelines have been updated and the assisted suicide clinics are under no legal obligation to follow them.

Pegasos are the most liberal of them all but are still very unlikely to help if you are young and have a history of mental illness.

Indeed, it was them who stepped in and assisted when the lady who was originally scheduled to be the first sarco user was pretty much abandoned by those behind the sarco pod. She wasn't terminally ill, just had various quality of life destroying ailments and was in her 50s You can read about that on the Pegasos website.

Anyways I feel I'm derailing the thread a bit here, apologies.

It seems to me that the laws have changed, unless it is about to change, that it is not done yet! But, on the spot, they keep talking to me about staying 2 weeks there!

So, if the laws have not changed, I hope that they will not change for the worse.

On the other hand, it is expensive. Indeed, assisted suicide is included in a complete turnkey service, including cremation (possibility to refuse it), sending the ashes according to the wishes of the deceased, administrative procedures, the salary of the people who accompany you, because it is an extremely hard job to do, otherwise, it would not be possible this kind of intervention, for foreigners, on the assembly line, in a clinic, which must also be rented).

Only people who have an address in Switzerland (home for example), can benefit from associations reserved for residents, such as Exit Suisse Alémanique (Germanic), or Exit Suisse Romande (French-speaking). Only the annual fee is payable, I don't remember how much, but it's not expensive, then, the intervention is free, but is done at the home of the person who requests it (hence an address in Switzerland) and requires a little delay. The emergency intervention, for Exit Suisse Romande, costs 400CHF (around 500 euros or US dollars). Why this price, it is to not saturate the volunteers of the association, to better regulate the interventions, knowing that these associations are overwhelmed, despite their full will.

I can't speak as a Swiss citizen as I'm not one. So the organisations catering to Swiss citizens only I won't comment on.

Dignitas/Pegasos are the two organisations currently offering VAD to foreigners, admittedly at a cost of approx €10,000. If you have a terminal illness and the medical records to prove it you won't have any real trouble being green lit for VAD after going through the necessary paperwork in line with Swiss law.

Pegasos operate a little more openly in accepting conditions not necessarily terminal but highly degrading of quality of life. I know it's normal to be assessed by a nominated psychiatrist in these cases but you don't have to be in Switzerland for this it can be done over Skype. I've known of people go have been green lit, arrived in Switzerland and completed their exit the next day so I'm not sure where this 2 week thing is coming from.

Regardless, I think these organisations should be commended for offering this service to those where it is illegal in their country.

So actually in reality euthanasia is not really allowed. There is a Swiss law (article 115 from the Swiss Federal Criminal Code) from the 40s that makes helping someone with suicide illegal if its not altruistic, which is not clearly defined. So thats what the police used to get the people arrested, that where at the place where the sarco was used for the first time.

Also having the requirements that one has to be very ill. One in that state of severe illness is not able to do the required travel and meeting with doctors and organization. They made that only select few are allowed from the many that want. So the decision is in the hands of the euthanasia organization and the law.

I already know Swiss not autorised active euthanasia (death made by other person like medecin), only suicide, and assistance (without egoist interests) by giving tools for example to make your own suicide.

What about any veterinarians on here? They would be able to access N very easily for their ctb. I think the info should definitely be available.

Thanks for the info. Good to know, I am assuming this is the company associated with the arrests after the pod use?

This pod can be 3D printed, I think is to avoit arrests of VAD organizations, but, I think is expensive to create your own pod. A DIY alternative, cheap is simply exit bag or mask. There are megathread and ressources for this method.
