• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Basically the title of the thread but...I'm curious what others think about confessing or not. This isn't necessarily just about romantic feelings; just generally confessing things.

Regardless, I am wishing you well if you're viewing this!!🌿

Perhaps neither fair nor unfair, but could be foolish depending on the reactions.

I guess what is the purpose of the confession? You'll be gone so it's not going to do a thing for you. What is it going to do for the person you're confessing to? There's no reason to make something like this harder or more painful, in my opinion at least.

If it was romantic, I would've said yes. But since it's general, I think it's best for you to confess things. You can share everything that was weighing down on you to your friends and family. It would give you a better conclusion in my opinion! ✌️

What exactly do you mean by confessing things? Confess the confessions... nah, I'm kidding. Anyways, it depends on what sort of things you're going to confess about

Depends. If you're confessing just to hurt someone or to relieve yourself only, then it's unfair. If you're a murderer and know where the bodies are buried, then confessing is the right thing to do to give the families closure.

I think, it doesn't matter anymore. If you already decided to end it all, there's no difference if you confess or no, you'll be gone and you will not face any consequences. Everything will end, no thoughts, no actions, no objects, nothing, just pure nothingness. There's no point to be afraid of negative reactions, there won't be any, because there won't be you to perceive them. I think, there's also an element of hope in your intentions, like if you confess romantic feelings, that person might accept your confession, then maybe you'll have a new meaning in life. But if not, then it doesn't matter, because you'll just do what you've already planned to do. From this perspective, suicide gives you more courage and freedom in your behaviour.

If that will make you feel better, do it.

If you have religious background, confessing removes a burden of your shoulders. And talks helps a lot, it's a kind of therapy.

I'm inclined in some things in christianity, and suicide is a sin, but hell is just a fantasy to control crowds of people to not fight, kill, steal or do worst things... in my opinion. Things like church used to do in the past.... that's why I only believe in parts of each religion.

When I said sin, I dont think is gonna be a punish or anything like that, but it's you, you will have to face your mistake, understand that (in most cases) you choose to be here, and choose to end your experience to soon.

I'm still a suicide... i feel ready, i believe my first word in afterlife is gonna be "crap"!!!

It would be closing a chapter. Just a conversation or a brief solace where I could be honest with the other person and so could they. I think they'd be happy. But, I realised that I would most likely leave an imprint on them by confessing(whether good or bad). I want things to be as neutral as possible regarding my ctb. I'm already set in completing my plans, so, I'll probably let everything fade just as I plan to. Thanks for your input! It helped me think about this more clearly.
