i am a programmer and know how to use c\c++ and java for socket programming using the win32sock library client and server packet protocol using encryption to send login details using RSA(public private key encryption), and RC4 for the network protocol using a circular buffer for fast reading and writing to a packet buffer, reading and writing strings shorts, ints,floats bytes, and booleans, also know http(hypertext transfer protocol) and use apache web server for running website infrastructure and common gateway interface to call scripts and mysql for database, i am a windows os programmer

hello! a few questions from me are how long did it take you to learn C?
besides http, do you also know javascript/php and would you believe this is all that is required to be highly proficient with web development? or is there another language language that is needed/is there a new modern default
I am looking to expand into web development and understanding operating systems as a whole better.
ROTMG is a fantastic game btw, I used to play that a lot

The good news is that you don't need to fully learn C\C++ before starting to code very powerful programs in C\C++.
learn for loops while loops and if statements and variables and switch statements
Probably with a month studying C\C++ you will be able to write very good programs.
it took me 1 year to completely learn c\c++
http using post and get commands
yes learn javascript or php is the best for web development along with html5(hyper text markup language) for building website pages
