  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Only thing that's sorta helped me was video games. It sounds cliche but I feel comfort knowing I can escape in a different world that doesn't remind me of this one. I don't have to cry over broken relationships or friendships when I can build new ones in a different reality, or distract myself from how tortuous my situation is.

in general I like finding something I enjoy to distract myself with and set myself a goal to accomplish within a certain time period. For example if I want to play video games to distract myself I wont stop until I finish/reach a certain level by whatever O'clock. Other times I just like lying in bed and listening to music while daydreaming. writing is also pretty fun for me. All are pretty great distractions :)

I think you just have to try and not give a fuck about them. There's no way to stop them it seems. They come and go as they please.

Of course drugs help. But that's really dangerous now with all the fentanyl everywhere.

I always used to lose myself in art. So- something task based enough to occupy your concentration. With a film, music, podcast or something on in the background, I could sometimes occupy all of my senses enough to kind of go into a meditative type state. I think they call it flow state. It happens with video games too for me.

It doesn't always work though. If I'm less willing to do whatever it is, then it becomes a chore again.

This is the part in the Bhagavad Gita that gives direct instructions how to meditate very simply and directly and humbly I might add. There is much great advice in these verses. They require some effort on your part though. May they be of help to you.
