Police Scotland are investigating sudden death of female in Edinburgh hotel. Wonder if its an SN suicide. Also wondering if it's Loopylou whose post I just read.

Unless she hid the remains of the SN and such, I'm not sure how they would question it not being a suicide, though. Maybe they just have to cover all bases because its a questionable death to them. Hard to say. She found her peace either way.

The Sun is calling it a "tragic find", the woman in question was found at 11:20 a.m. on Monday morning and so far they have described the woman's death as sudden.

I guess we'll just have to keep our eye on the news and see if they reveal more about the circumstances surrounding this person's passing.

Wish Loopylou had a friend on here who could confirm, one way or another.

LoopyLou's posted her final goodbye several days ago. Any reason to think that she waited until Sunday and then checked into a hotel and ended it?

Her goodbye said she planned to CTB in the hotel on Saturday night. I would assume she meant late Saturday, into Sunday, but not sure. You could be right. She also could have checked out the hotel for 2 days, and not been found right away.

If I choose the hotel route, I know I will likely check out one for 2 days, just for peace of mind not to be found.

She may have booked the room for Saturday night and given a check out time for Monday morning. Maybe to give herself plenty of time.

I'm wondering if used SN and if that's the reason the press is involved.

Yes the timeline fits. She was from Wales but I would want to go some hotel away from home. But who knows. Maybe its someone, nor even SN and Loopy is still around.

Good point about the paraphernalia. Although authorities dont like to publicise suicides for legitimate reason it tends to cause more suicides.

That's the problem, I didn't really know her. I only read her goodbye post.

I doubt she would go to a Scottish Hotel to end it unless she has a great fondness for the place. I never heard her mention her love of Edinburgh or Scotland in any of her posts. I on the other hand, have mentioned renting a cottage in that city to spend my final days.

I have seen a few people name Edinburgh for their CTB and I went myself 2019 when I was desperate. Like I say, it was just a feeling when i read it. Could be anyone.

If she died on Saturday, they'd have found her on Sunday wouldn't they, rather than Monday? And if she lived in Wales...I don't think it's likely that it was Loopylou.

I don't think it was her. It seems like she lives alone, booking a hotel is not necessary for her.

i hope they are in peace. although i don't think is right this type of posts where we try to guess who is who. is anonymous for a reason. so i don't think we should make threads where we speculate about who they are in real life.
