My husband had to give up his beloved dog and put down the other back to back all while getting harassed by the manager and landlord about putting down the dog and giving up the other. He loves cooking for me so I had a thought, I found a simple beef Wellington recipe on YT shorts and he wanted spring rolls so I decided that we were gonna make both together. He is happy now. Just cuddles alone make him feel better but ik this will help a lot too. It's small but at least it works, no need for any grand gestures, just cooking together

I'm so sorry about your dogs, I have a Spanish Greyhound, who I love to bits. My landlord is very forgiving, I'm housed by a disability charity, and while its strict conditions to live in my flat, animals are allowed. Hoping you and your husband are ok x.
