  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Paxil had me feeling good for a few days. Then I just kinda went back to my norm.

I managed to spend all of Tuesday in bed, didn't eat. I've spent most of my time in bed since then. Don't want to do anything, food sounds gross, sleeping issues persist, etc. I'm exhausted and bored, feel dead. The Paxil just makes my eyes feel tired but doesn't help me sleep.

I think I just had a taste of the placebo effect, hence the lifted mood.

I've heard of occurrences where the drug works for a very short bit, then your body adjusts and it works more like a placebo.

If I remember right, Wellbutrin was the same way. But that was two years ago, I hardly remember any of that stuff anymore. I got a bit of a kick for a few days, then just...nothing. Effexor may have been the same? Then Lexapro numbed my anxiety a bit like the Paxil, but worsened my depression. That's the most that I remember from any of the meds I've tried.

I wonder what will happen with the Paxil.

Sorry to hear it. Remember that your mood may change and become positive again, so don't lose hope
