Many people here have lost their faith due to their own circumstances. And also most members here have issues so severe they'd need more than a look into the bible to improve in a meaningful and sustainable way.

I know many people have lost their faith because there circumstances I was one . I know his word and his promise will restore it . He can give them strength in there circumstances . I know it's hard wasn't trying to be insensitive at all god bless healing and strength to you .

I'm glad that your faith gives you strength. The way I see it though is, God's plan was to kill my Mum aged 40 and engineer my upbringing with a (suspected) narcissist. I made the decision to make my own plan in life!

I don't believe God does have our best interests at heart. At best, I think the God that created this world simply doesn't care about the pain and misery they chose to write into the blueprint. At worst, I fear they may well be a sadist that revels in the suffering they inflict. I'd say I got off relatively lightly, compared to some other people too.

But still, I do respect the value and strength that faith gives to some people. I hope that God continues to give you strength. All the best to you.

Hey brother or sister you are not a narcissist the enemy is a liar. You are not your thoughts I use to think like this too . When I lost my cousin when I was addicted to porn and going through guilt and shame of my past junvenile sex offense . I thought god just made me to be a monster . But no he turns what the enemy uses for evil .He uses it for good . Also god limits himself he loves you but he will not force you into heaven he not force you to love him back . God is the overseeing authority but satan rules this world . He's given us a choice choose your own desires and reject the truth or choose him . The best part about Jesus is his love he will meet you where you are at he knows what you need to believe. Go to him with your brokenness I promise he not turn you away like this world . Love and peace to you may god be with you . May you receive the gift of enternal peace and life .
