I understand, I just truly did not think anything I was saying was that controversial honestly. I have decided to direct my efforts towards volunteering and I hope everyone on here can be happy in the end.

That would be sad if you based the decision on a vocal minority here, I believe you had the right intent but unfortunately some here (a minority) don't like to think of any other outcome than ctb.

Many share a hope that people can recover or find another way whilst respecting that for some ctb is a choice, it will never be easy but not much in life is

Thank you. I understand that hoping for something better makes people often feel that they are being set up to fail. I suppose I should not have gone looking for people to help, and realistically if people want help, they will find it elsewhere.

Will add a +1 to this and add that there is a tendency on this forum to routinely pull folk up on being insufficiently "pro choice" in accordance with their own personal, often narrow definition of the term (it's happening in another thread this very second), whenever they see something they dislike. You are probably going to find yourself wading through a *lot* of that if you are to proceed.

Fwiw l still think you are very misguided and l fail to see this ending well, but don't feel coerced into deleting messages that aren't offensive imo, after all there's a new, sparkling Two Way Block feature people can use to simply block you, then call you a piece of shit in public without you even seeing it.

Well, I guess I did not find it offensive and therefore did not want to leave a message up that was actually bothering and/or harmful when I did not see the hurt in it. I think people are tending to think I am trying to save someone, diagnose them, change their mind, etc. all of the people I have spoken with privately know that is not the name of my game. I was simply offering an outlet. I appreciate all of you for allowing me into your community and for those who have been so kind in expressing your situations and choosing to share that with me, I am very grateful.
