  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

check out the research. I just took one Lithium Orotate and 3 L'Tryptophans. Am starting to feel human. Don't know how long it will last for, but it is a relief for now. They did some research on this with people with Bipolar (I don't have that diagnosis as yet, 2 psychs didn't give me it) and also some other conditions...

L-Tryptophan is from the health food store. The second psychiatrist I spoke to (he was VERY arrogant) was surprised it was still available, as he used to prescribe it and it helped people, then he was stopped from prescribing it (there was a contaminated batch from one factory that got it banned)...so he was surprised you can still get it.

Just shows you, they can only prescribe what they know!!! And what they are allowed to prescribe.

Happy that you found something that works for you. Back when I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder I had an antidepressant plus some lithium to bump up the effects of the antidepressant. I've finally got the proper diagnosis of bipolar so I'm on lithium still but a much higher dosage. Lithium is pretty great.

Thank you. I am still in hell and clutching at straws. Last week the Lithum was helping me and this week it isn't. I don't have a diagnosis and I've seen two psychiatrists so far. I have a prescription for seroquel, just don't want to take it.

It'll take awhile. It took me four psychiatrists before i got a proper diagnosis. Why not take it? What do you have to lose? Idk I guess I'm more open to being a medicine ginni pig I've been on so many and it isn't fun but eventually some stuff works. I Do miss feeling joy. That was nice.

Hello! So, I used to take Lithium + Escitalopram. I felt it helped, but for 2 or 3 weeks only. Now I am only on Lithium (and not fine still). I hope this combination works for you!

It's probably helping because I believe it helps create serotonin. And lithium is proven to control suicidal thoughts and urges. I never thought about mixing the two before.

I'm prescribed lithium and a prozac/zoloft combo my psychiatrist wanted to try, although I stopped taking all my meds recently. Trying to decide what to do about that.

Anyone experimenting with lithium on their own should keep an eye on their levels. I have to do regular blood tests to make sure I'm not getting too much.

I hate Seroquel so much! Puts you to sleep in the most zombie-like way. I think it's over prescribed, honestly. Every time I've done partial hospital programs, like half the people can't even stay awake and everyone knows it's because they've been put on that crap. My psychiatrist calls it a miracle drug for the depressed insomniac. Ugh.

yes, everything I read about Seroquel does not appeal. It also can't be combined with weed - which gives me my rare and only good times.

I don't know what to do, just feel so lost.
