  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Ted Ksazinski (aka: the Unabomber) opposed the industrialization of society. He perceived our dependency on technology as being responsible for all the problems in the world. Many have acknowledged his genius and consider him to be a modern day prophet.
He lived in a remote shack, without electricity or running water. One of the reasons his devices went undetected was because they did not include materials and substances used in the usual explosives. It was only when his sister in law recognised his style of writing, when his manifesto was printed in newspapers, that he became the primary suspect.
This is a link to download that same document that led to his detention, twenty years ago.
Please share your thoughts and opinions.

Honestly, I think he was kind of right (especially with the emergence of AI). I don't condone his actions though. I think he had good ideas, but didn't go the right way in raising awareness about/bringing attention to them.
