• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

so I'm gonna use a slipknot. Do you make a slipknot around your neck AND the fixture?

A slipknot should be sturdy enough. You can tie a rope to a high branch that is out of reach using a slip knot to. Lost a rope this morning this way...

I was thinking a slip knot for the neck, then tie the two loose ends using a constrictor knot, one for each loose end, around the beam. That is if you're planning on doing a full suspension hanging. Be warned though, the constrictor knot is so effective it can even damage the beam if it's not of a hard enough material. From my knots app: "Simple and secure, it is a harsh knot that can be difficult or impossible to untie once tightened."
