  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

There is something called as laryngospasm, vocal cords spasm during drowning to prevent water entering inside lungs. It happens during drowning and rarely during anxiety attacks. It may cause dry drowning. According to Google, it's frightening experience.

Well, drowning is deadly exactly because water enters inside lungs. According to chatgpt, even smaller amounts of water can be deadly, because it prevents alveoli sacs from working, it disrupts their ability to exchange oxygen. Especially seawater can be dangerous, salt makes lungs dehydrated. Salt causes additional changes

So, I will take with myself a cup. If I am inside sea, can't drown myself and gases don't work for some reason, I will fill cup and start inhaling water from the cup

When we swallow something, path to esophagus and stomach opens. When we inhale, path to windpipe opens. I will inhale water from cup so much until I lose consciousness. If laryngospasm happens, I will wait until it passes so I can inhale water again
This is really the end for me, there is no need to cut myself, use gases, use anything else (other than drinking energy drinks to prevent as much as I can the diving reflex). Inhale water from cup, lose consciousness, fall into sea
Inhaling water from cup, thus filling lungs up with water as much as possible is, in my opinion, essence of drowning

If I chosen the method of drowning, I should be okay with side effects of inhalation of water or even inhalation of gases. I should actually feel grateful that I have sea nearby. No need for SI anymore
Actually, technically speaking, even at home, I can try inhaling water until I fall unconsciousness. But I may be found, water inside lungs may be not enough, etc

At sea, i will lose consciousness and fall into sea itself so water will keep filling up lungs Probably or simply, hypothermia will kill me
There is no more worst case what if scenarios anymore.

Use backpack to avoid floating; inhale water from cups if gases fail to make me unconscious and I can't submerge myself in water consciously; do it at evening to avoid being found; drink energy drinks to prevent diving reflex and feel a bit warm in hypothermia temperatures; hyperventilate before I inhale butane - propane gases and inhale them to make them more effective.
