  • Hey Guest,

    Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

I have went through severe mental traumas. I understand how it is like to be mentally tormented over and over again. now I have come to a point where it is unbearable and suicide is the only thing in my mind. I planned to leave for good very soon.

but I am not blaming god for the terrible mental and physical sufferings of the past 14 years. he has given me eternal life. I will stick to that belief what ever I do. god never promised any body relief and peace in this world. but only if you can see beyond this momentary world and focus on eternal life you understand you were not destined for this. I am no longer telling my self to endure the pain I know I cant but I know I can never lose my faith. what ever I do I will never stop believing in Jesus. this is how I reconcile suicide with believing in Jesus. I am suicidal ( already set a day) but I am still a suicidal believer. I know when I met my god I will find relief I will forget this devilish world and be with him in peace forever. I strongly and out of concern recommend any one who have decided to end their life to think about afterlife and see if they want to give god a chance to enter their life.

I always think about the person who was crucified on the right side of Christ. in his last hours he was not thinking about the past or the present but the future. and ask Jesus to consider him in his future kingdom. and Jesus replied to him you will be with me in paradise today. I believe he will treat us, desperate souls any differently if we have the courage to ask him the same question.

Despite the fact that I hope for the mercy of Jesus, I am very afraid of going to hell for suicide.

There is a person committing suicide every 40 seconds in the world (and I am writing two people commit suicide). If there really is a god, you should spit in his face

i don't believe i go to hell for suicide. the only reason one can go to hell is for not believing in jesus ,for how can he be responsible for you if you don't believe in him. but if you believe in him you know you can trust him. nothing can separate you from him, not even commiting suicide or any sin( i know how calling suicide a sin hurt many of us) because he paid the price for all your sins. THE ONLY THING THAT TERRIFIES ME IS NOT BELIEVING IN JESUS.

I understand.
But I read somewhere that suicide is an unforgivable sin.
And that God will never forgive such an act.

I am sorry for your pain. I am sorry, that you cant stand it any longer. But I can understand it. Sometimes the pain is too much. You was very brave, that you try it such a long time!

If you decided that you will commit suicide, then I wish you a peaceful transition. If you will try it much days longer on earth, we are here for you.

Wether in life or in death, I wish you god's deep, true love in your heart. I wish you can feel eternal peace in your soul.

i know how you feel. i wish i can hold your hand right now and tell you there is a GOD. there is a GOD. he is not responsible for our sufferings somebody else is. but why doesn't he do something about our sufferings? he already did 2000 years ago by sending his son to suffer and die for us so that we don't suffer if we believe in him. i believe in jesus but i am suffering to the point dreading to live one more day why doesn't he help me? i cried this for years until it finally revealed to me that god did not promise any body a relief in this world his plan is to take us with him in his world and live with him forever where there is no pain or suffering. therefore, i decided not to
struggle but let it go. i know where i want to go to a place where there is no suffering anymore i believe my father won't turn his back on me. that is not the god i know. omg WHAT A TRUE RELIEF THIS IS. i wish you can see what i see.

I'm not Catholic — but raised loosely as
Christian per family background/ school curriculum many moons ago

However — last year before my failed attempts — I found this legitimate/ highly respected Priest — and his kind empathetic words relieved my fears

— Please search : Father Ron Rolheiser online

— Then Use Search on his blog for : "suicide"

1. has written compassionately about suicide for decades — has also respectfully reported on suicides of his colleagues

2. I don't know or claim he's
"Pro- choice" — but he UNDERSTANDS

Eg —

"No different than cancer or heart disease of the soul" ;

'the soul wants what the soul wants' ;

"not a weakness nor immoral" … etc etc

3. every year he repeats / clarifies / adds new insights — based upon his personal/ professional experience

*4. Fr Ron clearly states official position of the Church / Bible = *suicide is NOT A SIN*

5. He seems to assist the surviving loved ones of suicide victims to understand ; not be ashamed + to celebrate— not stigmatize— > the gentle but wounded souls whose lives were — as worthy of equal love and remembrance— as a person lost to any other illness or accident

Hope this helps someone 🕊️🙏

that is not true. but you know i am not encouraging you to commit suicide and go to heaven. i believe it is up to him to take us to him when he want and we have to obey that. but when we can't live up this truth, i believe he understand.

here is what Father Ron Rolheiser also said

we should not worry unduly about the eternal salvation of a suicide victim, believing (as we used to) that suicide is the ultimate act of despair and something God will not forgive. God is infinitely more understanding than we are and God's hands are infinitely safer and gentler than our own. Imagine a loving mother having just given birth, welcoming her child onto her breast for the first time. That, I believe, is the best image we have to picture how a suicide victim (most often an overly sensitive soul) is received into the next life. God is infinitely understanding, loving, and gentle. We need not worry about the fate of anyone, no matter the cause of death, who exits this world honest, oversensitive, gentle, over-wrought, and emotionally crushed. God has a special love for the broken and the crushed.
