I'm alone in a new city, studying an advanced degree, recently fired, christ knows how I'm supposed to do this now. I got some money but not much, a little income but that's tricky, a few hopes of a job but they're not great. My mind is clear and disciplined, keeping up with classes and reading, hustling to find leads for work. It's just so crazy doing this. Everything could go either way, every day counts. I had nothing before, just nothing. The plan was to throw myself under a train here, maybe I still will but for now, that seems too easy, when there's a chance to make life worth living and nothing left to lose. Feels like I'm flying over an abyss in a mist and anything could be on the other side.
