Isn't it? It's relentless pain, false hope, and occasional good moments. Delusion keeps people going, and it's very hard to leave (suicide). I haven't actually been in an abusive relationship (#ForeverAlone), but this is my observation.

Agreed. There's no point to any of it, either. Everything is difficult, tiring and ultimately for nothing. I'm only interested in passing the time and feeling as good as possible until it's finally all over. I'm like a retiree in my thirties. Show me the the bingo hall and the peach schnapps.
