Being human sucks. As a kid, you're forced to get up early and go to school. As an adult, you're forced to go to work in order to survive. School is unpaid mental torture while jobs are barely paid slavery. And god forbid you end up having awful parents.
Society is built for morning people and extroverts and favors selfish assholes. Timid and shy people are looked down upon, are considered weak, and are often taken advantage of. In order to live within the mold to fit in society, they're the one's who need to change. They're the ones who need to toughen up. They're the ones who need to speak up and talk more, not the other way around. People tell you to just be yourself, but that's not how it works, especially if you're an introvert.
Now I see why drugs and alcohol exist. They exist to keep people going in life. It's to bribe people into continuing this rigged game called life. People become addicted to them and other stuff to cope with life. All the fun things are just distractions from reality, and they all come at a cost (literally and figuratively). For example, candy and, treats, and maybe some other things bad for your teeth may be delicious, but they ruin your teeth. They exist so dentists can make money off of people. Money is everything in life.
I read somewhere that if the mind know too much about reality, the mind wants to destroy itself. It's no wonder why genius people end up killing themselves. That, or life kills them and the good people off, but keeps the bad people. I don't know if I'm a genius or not, but I now see how this game works, and I want to quit.
