Venting Living with narcissistic parents

They never accommodate your feelings, only theirs is so important. Dad often rants about what we do "wrong" other times he is in someway pissing us off. I don't know how common it is for both the siblings to be suicidal and dependent on their parents. It so sucks, I don't know how even.

I can relate and understand what you are feeling right now :( I have also grown up with abusive/neglectful parents.

That's the narc parents' main goal. They need an audience or they drown in their own sense of worthlessness. It's insidious how they keep us dependent on them (e.g. by sabotaging our efforts to form new social relationships) and then condemn us for mooching off of them.
