• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

sitting here wondering why I torture the both of us but I guess he is just as "guilty" as me. lonely af and finding someone on the other side of the world that gets me, but the distance and attempting for one of us to move in with the other requires so much patience and stability.

Long distance dating is possible. It is possible to end up in a long lasting relationship.

Keep in mind that both of you really must be serious about it especially if it is cross borders and maybe cross cultural behaviors.

If both of you are serious you can succeed together.

I speak out of own experience!

For a long distance relationship to work communication is really important, you have to talk about almost everything with your loved one because It's really hard to know what is happening if you guys don't communicate
It is possible, yeah, but you really have to work on it
It takes a lot of time, patience and support from each other, so you really have to be clear with everything, I hope everything works for u, love takes time ^^

I get it. I'm in a long-distance relationship too. I can't visit him either because my parents would freak out if they found out about my relationship and I still live with my mom. I have to keep it a secret from them until I hopefully get to a point where I'm able to move out. I don't want to ctb until I have at least gotten the chance to spend some time with him in person.

Well it isn't that different from a regular relationship in this regard isn't it? We often pretend we understand eachother when we're close but that's kinda bs.
The only advice I'd give, other than general relationship advice which you probably know (communication, doing things together etc.), is to ONLY go through with it if you really love the person. If this person was the love of your life, would a few thousand km change that? Would you regret not trying to make it work?
