An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
Just wondering if anyone had the idea of making porn to make money. Or has thought about it. This is something I have thought about off and on. I know not much money can be made unless you're really good. I've also heard females can make more then males, which is kinda obvious. Would it be a good idea, or not worth it?

I couldn't do it. I'm average size, but you need be have some talent to do it. It's not just one solid fuck. There are breaks between shots, you either need to be able to stay hard, or be able to get hard on command basically.
On top of that, as a guy, I've heard the real money is being BI, so you can be in both straight and gay porn. Otherwise, you'll likely have to have a second job. Independent and amateur porn can be a way around that, but if you get hired as an employee, then its going to feel like a job for you.
Not a lot of money in porn for guys. I've read that even fairly well known males get less than $1000 per shoot. As a rookie, you'll probably have to fuck for free for awhile, because if you don't want to, there is a line of horny dudes who will gladly do it haha.
Yeah I was just talking about the money side. I figured it probably wouldn't be worth it. Though it might lead to an interesting discussion, regardless.
I honestly dont think it will be a good idea. Its gonna damage ur self esteem more. Sex industry isnt as "easy" as it seems. You should watch interviews with pornstars- they don't seem happy.

Fair comment. Although most of those interviews are probably from people who quit or retired because they out grew it. I doubt you'll hear a interview from an active pornstar that says they hate their job. Some people are built for it, some are not, just like any other job.
Porn is mostly exploitation in one way or another. Doubtful you will get rich With it. There is too much hidden crime involved, such as people trafficking, slavery, blackmail, name it, the porn industry is certainly not free of it. It Is not as glamorous as it appears to be.

I think that rings true more for women then men, but it's still facts. You're still guilty by association if you are contributing to dark side..but I do feel the hardships of the industry are mostly experienced by women.

Everyone went a different route than I expected. Actual porn is not really the way to make money anymore, the internet lets women be independent and do their own thing camming, selling vids etc and they can make some really good money.
Of course some will do better than others it's honestly more about personality than looks when it comes to camming hot women are a dime a dozen, entertaining women are much more valuable
If you are a guy go be a drug dealer instead, men are much less likely to make any money but guess it's still possible but as someone mentioned you need to be/pretend to be bi for it to even be possible.
I knew a women who spent some time camming and selling vids she lived better than I did and while she was attractive there are certainly more attractive women out there.
tldr porn is probably not worth the time or effort, go work for yourself if your a woman, guess if your a guy you could give it a shot but that still seems super iffy but i have no real reference
I don't know, I watch it pretty often, and I'm not going to lie and say I don't enjoy it...and as far as the actors themselves, they are enjoying it too, unless you are into some fucked up rape fantasy or something. Am I the only one who recognizes that porn is actually a good thing for SOME people? Yea it's a fucked up industry...but horrible for everyone? No way.

I've been doing it since 2013, it's good money but it's unreliable money. Some months I make over a grand, some months I make 200bux. I do have regulars though and while porn is free, people like the interactivity and the customization of what they're getting when they go to a camgirl or a content seller.
Well going against the grain here but I'd do it if I could have my face covered but it depends on how your psyche is set up. Some couldn't do it, others love the attention. It wouldn't be like that for me though. I'd cam before going straight up into porn. Bobs and vagene are celebrated everywhere and there will ALWAYS be a market for it
Maybe try doing camming instead. At least its your rules, when you want kinda thing, you could cater for people with "odd" fetishes. I seen a lady who caters to men who like balloons being popped (its strange but whatever your into) and she makes a fair bit of money doing it!!
If you think you could handle then porn life then go for it.
What about stripping? Is that something you would consider? Again, its whatever you think you could cope with tbh.

This was kinda the idea I had in mind. Camming or making amuteur porn. Of course I'd probably need a girl with me or something. Sounds like the results are pretty variable, regardless.

Are you Male or female? Sorry I took it you were female! Hence the stripping advice lol!!
I do think camming would be the place to start, get a feel for being on camera and being watched while in a vulnerable position

One thing I've learned doing this and meeting people who do it is that there's a niche for everything. Solo males get buyers and viewers, it's just that the consumers mostly tend to be male.
