• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

All my verbal communications both at home and work have been going downhill recently. They either end in a disagreement or a straight up argument. I had a rather interesting one with a guy I barely know. He was going about how the "law of attraction" has changed his life completely and how he has proof and testimony from those closest to him who would agree with this wholeheartedly. He said whatever you desire to get you will indeed get ONLY if you believe it from within. He started lecturing me about meditation states and some tips to become good at it. I told him if it's soooo legit I want to see him manifest a specific thing I myself suggest. He agreed so I asked him as a joke to manifest freckles on his face he said it was too easy and he was hoping for something more challenging. The ego he had the confidence made me a lil bit intimidated. I was sure he wouldn't be able to pull it off. Next day he didn't talk about it and I just let it be. After like a couple days he indeed showed up with some freckles on his face. I thought no way!! Must be makeup!! So I actually started rubbing his face with a tissue hoping it would come off but it didn't. They were deadass freckles. He said he did it with his mind which sounds insane but I can't explain it. I witness it myself I've always been interested in it but kinda skeptical. I'm scared of this guy. Every time I see him my heart wants to jump out of my chest.
Edit: for a couple days following this I thought I was going crazy. I thought I was imagining things hallucinating etc. I actually doubted if the whole interaction was real until I spoke to a girl who knows him and she confirmed to me he always talks about this and I wasn't the first to have such a conversation with him...

you should've used a wet wipe, he probably did it with a marker. if you could ask him to manifest something a bit bigger and harder to fake then that'd be something!

So did you try any of the techniques that he suggested? Seems like a cool power to learn

Tbh I've been keeping my distance from him never really picked up on that convo again. To this day I genuinely believe what I saw was real...

If that were true my life would be vastly different. I truly believed so many stupid things for so long, and believing something never makes it happen. He probably just got tattooed or something honestly

If somebody told you that you could get anything that you wished for via drinking your urine and then, to prove it to you, drank their own urine and came back the next day with a Mustang, would you start believing that drinking your own urine will grant you anything you wish for?

Manifestation is bullshit. Other people saying otherwise doesn't prove anything and in most cases, there is some sort of logical explanation to be had. I mean, first off, you can't rub off makeup with just a tissue alone. Hence why makeup removers exist. Makeup, especially nowadays, is made to not be easy to rub off and some are even waterproof. Along with that, most of the supposed testimonials given about the amazingness of manifestation aren't really proof of anything. What if their views of it are tainted by confirmation bias? What if the times when the "universe gave them what they wanted" were actually just due to their beliefs causing them to be more likely to take larger risks and opportunities with larger rewards? I feel like manifestation is really just another example of adventitious reinforcement, tbh. You need to actually provide real evidence of there being a causal relationship. Correlation =/= causation. Assuming the freckles were real, is that necessarily proof enough of there being a causal relationship between the two?

I regard the fact that people spout such bullshit to be yet another argument in favour of suicide.

Manifestation, law of attraction/assumption, etc., is possible imo. They always say your mind affects your reality, so why couldn't it be true? In my experience, I have attempted manifesting something twice, and both times were successful.

A while ago I attempted to prove manifestation was a stupid concept by manifesting the fact that manifestation would never work for me. It worked.

Thought is. That's what I used to believe. I've gone down the rabbit hole with all the changing your subconscious with audio tracks but I never really manifested anything except that one time where I manifested looking younger than my age which was just a confirmation bias since I ady have the baby face and shit to go with it. Louise Hay "You Can Heal Your Life:" healing yourself of disease by saying affirmations I've done that too. And I thought that it worked back then. Now I woke up and just see them for what they truly are: pseudoscience. I had to learn the hard way by getting psychosis and seeing all my belief systems play out in real life by acting them out in this sleep-deprived like state. It was like dreaming out loud lol what a crazy experience that was. Things that I held onto as spiritual fell flat during my psychosis and didn't save me one bit. It failed to live up to reality. It was nothing but lies.
