I'm pro choice, just wanna let that be clear. And I still kinda feel icky about physician assisted suicide or just allowed suicide in general. It just feels like they gave up, like "well we did our best" and funding for PAS in places never follow with increased funding to mental health and disability services.

I wanted to know if I was the only one.

Also apologies if this belonged in suicide instead of off topic because it mentioned suicide.

You're not the only one at all. There are many real, serious ethical concerns with PAS, euthanasia, MAID, etc and it would irresponsible to pretend that they don't exist. Besides, pretending these concerns don't exist, or overly promoting MAID, just makes us look like a death cult.
It's like gun ownership. It can be a good thing, and also be risky and not for everyone.

Interesting. But not saying you're alone for feeling that way. I just wish it was more accessible. I find it to be more convenient/ straightforward than a lot of the other methods, you sign up and boom, easy and comfortable death.

I would think this option would be far less traumatic for the surrounding loved ones than DIY bus trips.

That too. Although it's not my main concern.

I would too, I'd already be gone if that was the case. But it just feels weird for it to be allowed by the government, like I wish it was more accessible but just without the government.
