He's the most controversial of them from what little I know of him. iirc he started off his career like "hey disenfranchised young men, clean your rooms and take care of yourselves" and gradually drifted fairly far rightward. I really don't know/remember much so take that with a grain of salt

Well, he did say that "gender-affirming care was 'Nazi medical experiment-level wrong' " on YouTube (Wikipedia), along with a whole bunch of other controversial public statements. (Not to put anyone here down who this test said had views similar to his.) He seems more of a right-wing pundit and propagandist than a "philosopher".

Yeah. I wouldn't take the word philosopher too literally.

Chomsky is a linguist. Peterson is a psychologist.

But they have broad ideas outside their fields, and have had influence outside their field.
