• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

Would you continue living if you let's say won the lottery? Like 10+ million dollars- enough to live "well" for the rest of your life?

Trapped in this Suffering

Maybe for at least a bit longer as I could escape my family trapping me in the house and get more freedom which could help to feel better. I would still commit suicide at some point cus life is too repetitive and long but I would maybe want to make and do the things I want to do before killing myself.

It's just insane how sick this world really is - that money can be the different between wanting to live or die... I'd probably stick around for at least 10 more years if I was wealthy.

For sure. I'd be able to fix most of my problems with that kind of money.

No. Money won't fix the untreatable health issues I have. I already have enough money to live comfortably for the rest of my expected life span. Nothing like $10M, but able to live a decent life due to how hard I've worked so far. I am middle aged.

One of the most stressful parts of my life and the cause of many of my suicidal thoughts is knowing I will never be able to work a full time job and that eventually when I lose support from my parents, I will end up most likely homeless. If I had $10M that would be much less of an issue. I have many more issues besides just the monetary ones so I think I would still want to die but less so.

I would for a little longer, i could use it to donate to people who actually needs it. Then when i have around 50k-10k left i would just use that for ctb preparations. This world can be so cruel sometimes i don't see how money would fix the problem for me.

Absolutely. If it meant I never had to work again, be able to buy my own home, and have all of my expenses covered (healthcare, food, etc) then I'd actually try to live.

A lot of my sucidality comes from having to be a wage slave for the rest of my life and never having the time/energy for anything else, so having that would be a massive relief. There'd still be underlying depression and other mental illness, but then it'd actually be manageable for me I feel.

It would have to be a lot of money. And even then it would probably just end with me ODing.

i'd still be miserable/suicidal, but it wouldn't be severe enough for me to carry out ctb—at least, not for a while.
a lot of my biggest problems can be solved with money, or are directly related to my lack of money. i have a lot of issues that would remain, but money would be a nice distraction.

realistically, i'd just live as long as the money could keep me entertained, then ctb much later. i think i'd stay alive for a pretty long time, though.

Just wanting some peace

I'd never wish to exist, I see existence as an abomination that just causes harm and suffering with no limit as to how much agony one can feel, to me human existence is the most torturous, unnecessary burden that just feels like a mistake to me, I'd personally always prefer to not exist no matter what, non-existence is all that's desirable for me, the thought of being trapped in this existence just to die tortured by old age is really horrific to me.

More than anything I wish I never existed and I never should have suffered in this existence at all, I'm so tired of being burdened with this existence, I was never meant for any of this, I just want some peace instead, permanent non-existence really would solve everything for me it's all I hope for, for me non-existence is all that's positive, I'd personally be so relieved to have the option to fall asleep permanently and never suffer ever again, I'll always find it so undesirable to exist no matter what.

yes. Because it is the major reason for my direct and indirect problems. It would not cure everything, but enough to improve my life.

Yes but the question is for how long. Some things would be fixed with money and there would be temporary benefits from the get go. But over time I might still end up catching my bus due to being haunted by past memories and things that no amount of money could truly fix.

I would use the money to die well, though I think this is much more than I need for this purpose.

Probably for a little while longer. I hate Capatalism and the monetary system but I would move to Amsterdam or Switzerland to live the remainder of whatever life I have left in peace and solitude.
