Companies don't care about anybody because of money. People get fired replaced with someone else instantly and don't care, because money. Without money, you're poor and deemed worthless to society. Yet, it will do everything it can to keep you alive, to keep you trapped here so you can continue to slave your life away to money. More people in this world means more money for big companies/corporates and the rich.

Yeah thats late stage captialism for you. The few get to hoard immense amounts of wealth that they could never fully use while the majority struggle to survive since most of their money from their labor is going to those few.
Humans really saw a beautiful world full of colorful skies and fields full of greenery and decided to base all of its indentity and everyday life on money. I guess I don't have a better solution though.
