Life is a costume party…

I've always been a careful person - in the sense that I like redundancy. Backups. Spare parts. A well stocked pantry.
I just hate running out of things, or finding out that something I rely on has broken and that ordering a replacement will take forever.
(Perhaps I missed my calling as a prepper somewhere in post-apocalyptic, aka present day, US America.)
I'm the same when it comes to catching the bus. I guess you could call me a CTB prepper.

- I have prepared and tested my primary exit, nitrogen.
- I have my backup ready, sodium nitrite, puke meds, etc.
- I have a bunch of poison hemlock seeds (Conium maculatum). A bit unconventional, but if it was good enough for Socrates I bet it's good enough for me.
- I have a bottle of ricin. Well, castor beans really (Ricinus communis). Perhaps in a smoothie?
- Some nightshade (Atropa belladonna).
- A large plastic bag and sleeping pills. This method was described in older copies of Final Exit but has been removed because of a high likelihood of failure. It's a race between the sleeping pills knocking you out before the bag fills with enough CO2 to trigger hypercapnia. I tried and survived this method earlier this year because I kept on not falling asleep and then panicking. Eventually my housemate came home and found me drugged to the gills but alive, and called an ambulance.
