An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
Why do suicides or suicide attempts always use just one method? I've thought of this for the longest time, why would anyone only use one method when there's a possibility of failure? I get it would be harder to do, but wouldn't it be far more lethal?
That is a really good point. Take a gun for example - you could take a shitload of blood thinners, wait awhile, than blow your brains out causing you to bleed out quicker.
You could also do something like stand on a chair with a rope firmly tied around your neck. Overdose on fentenyl, then stand until you pass out, causing you to "kick the chair".

it's because most suicide are done spur of the moment while drunk. Rarely do people thoroughly research and plan like we do. It would make sense to use multiple methods though.

Yes, and also don't forget to find a body of water, or a high place enough place to add more guaranty to the success rate. Or shooting yourself while the rope around your neck is tightening.
I've always thought, somewhat as a joke, that I would kill myself by first finding a tall enough bridge over top of a road or a sidewalk or some other sort of area where I wouldn't fall into water, to that bridge I would attach a rung of steel wire, which I would then tie tightly around my throat, after which I would glue my hands to the top of my head and jump off the bridge. The tension and strength of the steel wire if I reached a high enough speed while falling would cut my head clean off but when I landed it would look like as if I pulled my head off of my own body due to my hands still being super-glued to my head. It's really just a thought experiment, because if I really did it it would most likely be with an exit-bag, but it would certainly make the news.
