An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
I don't know how I feel about this. I don't really have the heart to be vulnerable about it yet but I don't know. I guess I just wanted to say it out loud. My dad is gonna die from cancer. He's really sick. We will find out soon how bad it is.

It's hard. My dad died from the "effects" (negative) of cancer treatment, but that was a long time ago. I'm sorry about your dad. I have known a couple people that have beaten cancer, so one never knows.
I know this stressed my kids a few years aho. I was lucky snd treatment worked. It came a few days from taking me out, so he has tangible hope.
It took about 2 weeks to accurately define what I had.
I hope he is lucky too.
I'm so sorry, OP. Cancer is a cruel bitch and life lashes out at those we care about the most. Always seeming to fuck over non-suicidal people while we sit here, often hale and hearty, waiting to go.
Any updates on your dad's condition? There's no reason not to have hope. More and more people survive cancer every day and advances continue on the regular. I hope he pulls through and gets better.
