Hello everyone.
I started repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) treatment today. I thought someone might be interested in it so I'll share my experience. I'll update about it in this thread. English isn't my first language so I'm sorry if I make mistakes.
rTMS is a treatment for depression (and some other issues as well). I can't tell about the science part but I'll link wikipedia.
So the first time was today. First they looked for the place they're putting the magnet. It took about 5 minutes. They drew a dot to my head so they can find the same place the next time too. Then they put some kind of machine to my head and gave me magnetic impulses for 15 minutes. It didn't hurt but it was a little uncomfortable.
The treatment is going to last a month and is every day from Monday to Friday. The nurse said it can start helping after a week or a bit longer.
If you have questions I try to answer but this was the first time so I don't know if it helps yet.
