An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. my longer poem !!
life can suck sometimes, i know that is true
most days I wake up woe-stricken and blue
roll out of bed, hazy eyes on my phone
and i stare at my home-page, but don't feel I'm home
i think of the people out there, in the sun
throwing a frisbee and having some fun
and i'm all alone in my hole of a room
festering in my depressive cocoon
but not every shade of blue broods like cold metal
some blues are peaceful like delicate petals
some blue hues live in the deep, gorgeous sea
and there's blues you can feel and there's blues you can be
catching a bus going nowhere's an option
but if you go nowhere, that blue is forgotten
and some sing the blues in a beautiful tones
and when i hear that music, i feel that i'm home
