My thoughts on suicide

If you plan on going, I advise you do to it somewhere where no one will find you. Its pretty rough on people, especially loved ones to see your dead body either at the scene or at a funeral. I myself plan on doing it in the middle of nowhere or maybe off a boat far deep in the ocean where I cant be found.

Unfortunately that's not practical for most people; besides I don't want anyone to think I have gone missing which would waste public resources and probably be more traumatic for the few who care about me.

It doesn't matter. Missing person, dead body, it's all pain to anyone who cares. As has been said once you are gone it's not your problem and there isn't some award for self torture or "being good" if you somehow kill yourself in a less "bothersome" way. If it's time to go, it's time to do, and the rest doesn't matter.

I wouldn't want my parents to be the first to see my dead body, which is why I'd use a system/app to alert the police or whatever after I CTB. However, I disagree about dying in the middle of nowhere with the intention to not be found *if you have loved ones*. I think family and friends would hurt more if a body was never found. Being given the opportunity to hold a funeral or cremate the body leaves room for closure.

It may be different for some people but I thought I'd share my opinion.

I have no rights to question your way of doing it ,
but for if you have someone cared/loved/liked you ,not being found for very long
will makes them suffer more in terms of duration.
if i have people who cared for me ,and i know they will be sad after knowing im gone
i'll be writing my notes ,stating your last words ,atleast make them not feel as bad.

sadly i have none , they will be people who be glad if they found out im gone.
