• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

(warning: don't read this if you are sensitive to dehumanizing acts)

I recently saw a post on this thread named "It wouldn't surprise me if a new Hitler arises in Europe soon", and it gave me the idea of a new world leader that would by most of society be considered far worse than Hitler was:

The idea is about a world leader who suddenly becomes very similar to Hitler with many of his characteristics (aside from name and appearance), the whole world outside world be against them

But, instead of beginning massive genociding, much like hitler and the holocaust, that world leader would be a "crazy maniac", who isn't just doing genocide to a particular nation or ethnic group, but deliberatly killing as many people as they can, across all demographics, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, religion, or other distinguishing factors, an attack against humanity itself, potentially killing billions if the plan goes far.

Such a world leader doing such 'atrocities' has severe depression, suicidal thoughts, extremely negative beliefs of life, and such things, believing they are doing the right thing by "bringing peace" to as many people as possible. They see death, even on a massive scale, as the only form of "escaping the pain and suffering life offers". That "life shouldn't even be a thing in the first place". They reject human potential for meaning, growth, and change, much like most people in this website. The leader believes that, because life is ultimately pointless, the only way to end all suffering is to end life itself, driven by nihilism, and a desire to erase all life.

This world leader would also indirectly encourage and cause even more atrocities from their nihilism view, both within their own military and internationally, because their worldview would justify extreme violence and cruelty without any regards for life. Such as encouraging war crimes by commanding soldiers to deliberatly kill enemies rather than just neutralizing them and target innocent people too, as well as even encouraging other countries to lash out nuclear bombs everywhere. They would target civilians, engage in indiscriminate killings, and destroy entire populations without any justification beyond the belief that death is the ultimate peace. Such a world leader would also encourage other countries to act with similar nihilism, potentially bringing allies if they are just as depressed as that world leader is. They would also target their millitary forces to weaker countries first to ensure all the population of that country is erased to ensure they eliminate as many people as possible. They would also heavily encourage and even invest in severe terrorism like 9/11, as part of their strategy for maximum chaos and mass casualities.

Aside from the acts of this world a leader by themselves, their actions and speeches would also escalate suicide rates on a global scale. They could also invest millions if not billions into creating some kind of virus dedicated to erase all of human life. They would be marked as the greatest threat to human kind in every newspaper.

What do you all think about such a world leader? Do they have some kind or morality or ethicy, or would it still be pure nihilism? And would they be better, equal to, or worse than Hitler? And, most importantly, would you see such a world leader as a villain, or as a hero?

No leader can ever accomplish anything en masse if not forhaving a mass following, especially of soldiers. A big chunk of the world would have to be convinced of this leader's ideas before they could implement them. And the ideas you describe this leader having are all over the place in terms of logic, but also ideas that the vast majority of the world disagree with. So this leader wouldn't get very far before even their own military would turn against them.

Thats probably impossible to happen and shouldn't happen unless something so bad happens that it makes everyone's life a living hell. They would probably be seen as a villain or an anti-hero. While I and some or most us on here want to die which is valid, not everyone does and those people are also valid in not wanting to die. Its their life so they should be able to do want they want as long its not immoral.
