  • Hey Guest,

    As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

  • Security update: At around 2:28AM EST, the site was labeled as malicious by Google erroneously, causing users to get a "Dangerous site" warning in most browsers. It appears that this was done by mistake and has been reversed by Google. It may take a few hours for you to stop seeing those warnings.

    If you're still getting these warnings, please let a member of staff know.

They evaluated all my symptoms before Xmas (severe depression and social anxiety), so what should I ask in regards to treatment change? I'm on Mirtazapine 30mg for depression and 300mg Pregabalin for anxiety, but both barely take the edge off. I think their offer next is Amitriptyline but I don't know. Should I ask for that? What is your experience with it if you have tried it?

Psychiatric medicine is often a process of experimentation. You need to provide accurate and detailed information about how the present medication is or isn't working. If they are going to make any changes in medication, you might ask;

1. What change they expect to see from the new medication is it stronger, weaker, or just different.
2. What side effects should be expected.
3. How long should it be to see any effect (some medications might take several week to show any effect)
4. Are there any drugs, supplements, or foods that should be avoided with this medication.
