• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

so, I did no work for my English class this semester. Like I fully stopped trying after midterms. But in the final week and a half, I spent that time doing the final essay that was supposed to be done over seven weeks. Ended up with a 93 on the paper, despite there being glaring issues, such as my thesis being inaccurate, and a low but passing grade in the class. and it was like that for most of high school.

it's rlly hard to feel the need to change when things work out like this

i was like this in school too. it's part of why i have such a low work ethic. i was a genuinely smart person, but I just had trouble understanding things all the time and I had no motivation to do anything, even when forced to. all the time, authority figures at school just let me get away with stuff because I was nice, obviously somewhat intelligent despite low grades, and I was quiet and didn't disrupt class. i sometimes wish someone had pushed me harder. it makes it feel like nothing I do matters, even if it affects me positively.
