• If you haven't yet, we highly encourage you to check out our Recovery Resources thread!
  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Note: this thread is mostly applicable only to those on the fence about recovery.

So some people have a planned ctb date. But for those on the fence with recovery, what about the reverse?

"No ctb before [date]", a set time period of sorts where one promises to not ctb in. What do you think? Has anyone else tried this?

Just wondering if anyone else has set a ctb prohibition time period, that can be extended periodically? And their thoughts and feelings about such?

I myself in July 2024 set New year 2025 as a "ctb prior prohibited" time period. Now that its expired I dont know how to feel, not sure if I'll extend it.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a good way to encourage yourself to stay. I did that sort of with the holidays- wasn't going to do that to my family.
