It seems like there isn't anyway to just go to bed and not wake up?

I suppose the suicide rate would be much higher if it were that simple.

I feel trapped.

I don't guess I have a choice other than hanging and I'm terrified that won't work either.

Im not about to jump off a high bridge, don't own a firearm, OD doesn't work, seems like it's hanging or nothing.

It's devastating knowing that this is my end and not even being able to get the courage up to got through with it or have a plan.

Are you guys sure there is absolutely not a simple way of leaving this earth?

Suffocating with blankets, etc?

Hanging or partial hanging have a few guides going around. It's scary as heck like any ctb method, but if you can get your hands on some sedatives (meds, alcohol, anything), that would help. If suffocating is a possibility, gas bags are a thing but require hard-to-source chemical products.

Nope, I was struck by lightning when I first came to that realization. Feeling trapped between life and death.

It's devastating knowing that this is my end and not even being able to get the courage up to got through with it or have a plan.

Perhaps you should take some time to become more familiar with the hanging (or any other method) first, so you can make a plan?

Because many suicides go unreported, the actual number of global suicides is actually much higher. Regardless of the actual numbers, it's a staggering number of people.

Could you imagine that rate if every attempt were successful?

I would like to think that maybe it's a good thing that most people fail at killing themselves. I've lost way too many people who have ended their lives. At least some of those people will get a second chance at finding peace in life. Maybe a few more can help others find that same peace before taking that final, irreversible step.

I'm a little pissed off that I've heard of people over dosing my whole life yet I can't seem to OD. I'm not even someone who does rugs. The people I've known who have ODed must have really been out there.

How come no one is mentioning inert gas? That can be extremely peaceful if you have the right setup.
