  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Like the subject question says: I am still trying to decide between going with SN or trying for N?

SN advantages: I have it and everything I need for it (metoclopramide) already, and it won't cost me hundreds of pounds (I'm in the UK) and then I can't be sure that I'll even get it after all that. Reading the threads about SN - which I seem to have read each and every one of them in detail has really just confused me even further. The idea of pain lasting hours - I'm not good with pain - and I'm not entirely convinced by Nitschke's assurances of how simple and reliable SN is. I'd much rather try something I know has a record of success, even if it does taste utterly vile. That doesn't scare me. The uncertain details of SN - and the possible lingering pain - really do terrify me. I've been so close with it, but still haven't taken that step, but I really do need to get out of here before I genuinely finally end up going utterly batshit insane.

I know definite records of success with this method are pretty hopeless to look for on here, because who is really going to post on here if they're dead?

Why do you think you survived it, if you don't mind me asking?

Well, I really was planning to ctb this weekend. Now having to postpone because, thanks to two nights almost complete lack of sleep, this morning - shortly after I typed the original post - I clearly entirely passed out and fainted, and obviously hit my right eye on the corner of my desk (and, inexplicably, somehow knocked over my desktop computer monitor at the same time). I now have an absolutely *massive* bruised and swollen right eye, complete with cuts. I'm now going to look like I beat myself up somehow - I don't particularly care how I look when I'm discovered, but I'd rather it didn't look like I'd physically attacked myself.
