I have no education, very few friends, no goals, no future and mental illnesses that will never go away. Might as well stop the suffering before I waste another year being a useless human

You don't need to be normal, you don't have to.

I feel that if you weren't abused in some way you wouldn't be a shut in.
So, you wouldn't also feel like a "useless human"
So, in a way, if you are like you are due to GETTING fucked up, that means you are not fucked up from the get go, and you have some worth.
Hell, it took me to enter SaSu to realize this, but if we can see each other and all the abuse we suffered, then we can restore our humanity.
The issue is that you won't find traumatized and sad people willing to talk heart to heart outside on the street.
Even less of a chance if you are a shut in (Like I kinda am too, and definitely was in the past)

Correct, I was bullied in school quite heavily for 5 years or so, one day I just had enough and completely isolated. I didnt really realize it at the time but it traumatized me pretty badly. Recovering from being a shut-in for such a long time feels like an impossible task at this point.

I know how you feel. I've been a shut-in for so many years now. At one point my life just completely fell apart and it's been like this ever since. I don't even want to leave anymore. I've lost faith that anything good will come of it.

I wouldn't want to get in the way of any normal well functioning people living their lives. There's no way I can function in their society so really the best option is to catch the next bus.

I can't function in society because of my untreated trauma either but I don't want to. I don't want to perpetuate this shit. I've tried many times but it's not for me; I've made monumental efforts, held a job for more than a year, tried university; not for me. get me out

I believe that as long as someone is still healthy (mentally and physically) and resonably young, there is still a lot to achieve in life especially these days with such technologies, remote work options, like really it is possible to do interesting stuff, make money, travel the world. I feel people who want to ctb because their partner broke up with them or they lost a job / failed in business or have financial struggles. But I would argue that those things can still be sorted out with therapy, new approach, meeting someone who sparks an idea etc. I myself was brought up in the middle of nowhere in shitty Poland... and somehow made it to get a job in banking in London in my mid twenties. Then got sick and lost everything. I really wish I could work even remotely from home.. but unfortunately not possible anymore. So I really encourage to keep trying as long as you are resonalby healthy because there is not much to lose and I think at the end, worst case scenario, you don't have regrets that you haven't done your best. Best of luck
