I wouldn't be doing my usual, home alone with the dogs. dating just doesn't work for me and with no family life just sucks. I look successful on the outside but am dying inside. I had surgery 2 weeks ago. Had an uber driver take me because I have no friends. Everyone else in the waiting area of the surgery center had someone waiting with them. no one even noticed me.

It is past new years eve now, but if it was up to me I would spend every day not existing. I want nothing to do with life at all. The fireworks were really loud where I lived which meant I could not sleep. It was a horrible night.

Vanessa, The same thing happened to me a few months ago. I had surgery that required me to stay in a hotel next to the hospital two nights. Alone. I won't ever go through a major surgery again. The physical pain of recovery isn't worth it on top of the mental pain I already endure. And to the person who started this thread, I also don't suffer any financial difficulties. But severe depression is the worst.
