Google quotes 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, but I don't really think it's the same thing.
I suppose you could interpret this to mean focus more on caring for the people who are alive and grieving, instead of focusing on the deceased. Because you can help people who are alive, but you can't help people who are dead.
I prefer the more simple interpretation that life is awful and the people who have passed away are free of it.
