  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I had my first appointment with my new neurologist yesterday. She was WONDERFUL. My last one was so cold and wouldn't give me anything except the medicine for my epilepsy despite my horrible migraines and severe restless legs. I left the new office yesterday with multiple samples, pamphlets and four new prescriptions.
I was even, hopeful?? I didn't think that feeling was possible anymore. I'm definitely not going to get my hopes up about these medications working, and taking 6 meds a day now at my age isn't ideal personally, but I'm just thankful this doctor actually listened and wants to help me.

I feel like sometimes doctors see so many patients and end up forgetting that we are still humans with emotions. They want to get through as many patients as possible. It's always nice to find someone who understands you and genuinely wants to help.

My wife has restless leg. She found SAMe to be helpful. It is perscibed for depression in Europe, but is available over the counter in the US. I ran across a guy saying it was useful for RLS and it really helped her.
