Hopefully this is allowed and the place to post - in the early covid days I started playing online board games with a group of friends regularly who were in different places and it was nice to have a ritual and human connection, even if it was digital. Eventually it died off and worse yet I hardly interact with these people...but that's another story.
Anyway, I used Board Game Arena which has a pretty decent library; mostly classics and more niche moderns, a handful of which I've learned. It's free to sign up but a lot are in the premium tier meaning you need a paid account. Maybe some people here are already on the site, maybe some are curious; it'd be nice to have someone(s) to play with again.
Drop a line here or directly if you might like to chat and play sometime. Maybe this is too hopeful but perhaps a little group could even come about. If you have at least decent social skills and are a pleasant person to interact with, I don't really mind who I game with. I'm pretty sure my profile accepts messages, so if you make an account feel free to share your handle with me directly, or post it here for/if we want to get a group going :-)
