My method of choice will involve consuming a considerable amount of alcohol. To to knock myself out in the water or at least not perceive fear as I drown, I estimated I'll need about 600ml of a 40% concentrated drink. I'll also be taking it after not sleeping for a night or eating for 12 hours, which also tends to make me nauseous. The situation is further complicated by the fact that my body has a permanent sensitivity to alcohol; I used to get drunk in my parent cellar as a child, and ever since I can barely stand the taste of cheap alcohol.
The last time I drank was during a depressing visit I took many years ago: I'd buy those 200ml / 37.5% bottles of whatever they had from the local mall and down them in one sitting. The taste was horrible, but it never actually caused me to feel like throwing up... none the less I had to hold my nose and take breaks in between to be able to handle it. I never got anywhere past that amount so I don't know how my body would react to it, but I can easily predict it's not going to be easy at all.
This is why I need your help with one last detail. I need some way to get rid of that horrible taste and prevent my body from vomiting the alcohol. I must do this without reducing its efficiency which I'll need every little bit of, but also without taking a cocktail that risks permanently damaging my body in the unlikely event of failure. An important detail is that I don't have a lot of money on me, and can only purchase lawful substances which are cheap and easily available in shops. Some of the thoughts I've had so far:

An important detail is that I don't have a lot of money on me, and can only purchase lawful substances which are cheap and easily available in shops. Some of the thoughts I've had so far:
- Medicine: I'm likely going to visit a small pharmacy in the area, pretend I ate something bad if anyone asks any questions, and buy whatever pills they have for combating nausea. I'm then going to take a slight overdose for safe measure before I head out for the shore. Is there a specific type of medicine you recommend, which is efficient in combating vomiting but also goes well with alcohol without causing complications?
- Tongue coating: I've heard about certain fruits and other substances that can be used to numb taste, usually by coating the surfaces on your mouth so they don't respond to taste for a while. Do you know of any such substance? For instance: I used to take Methylene Blue for treatment as a kid, and remember it had such an effect.
- Cocktail: I'm pondering the possibility of putting something into the alcohol to numb its taste (namely fruit). Sour liquids like lemon juice would only make it worse, but something sweet like oranges might make the taste more bearable. Has anyone successfully mixed alcohol with other substances to improve its taste?
- Hose: This is a tricky and unlikely idea I've thought of. In order to not feel the taste of the alcohol and get the job done in seconds, I considered pushing a small diameter hose down my throat and pouring the alcohol through it. I'd need to construct a special bottle cap first, and would have to test this out with water to see if I can actually handle it. I'm not yet sure if it's worth the effort though: Would this indeed be more efficient and reduce the body's want to throw up?
