• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UKā€™s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I have read a lot if not all threads about partial suspension. Yesterday and today I have practiced but without success.

For those of us that have failed, is the reason that we don't put our full weight into the noose? Sure i push down hard into the noose, but I don't really "let my body fall" into the noose. So the megathread is filled with people who just don't fully commit?

I read about famous people who ctb with partial, and ask myself if they just do it, and let themselves fall into the noose, take a couple of seconds of pain and then start to pass out?

Thoughts?

I think definitely a commitment issue.
We ,myself included, try partial but then its uncomfortable and doesn't happen quickly enough and we feel that anxiety and blood pressure buildup in the head and call it. But if there were a fire and it was partial right now or burning to death I'm sure I could have made it work the very first time.
Then again whoever succeeded, we don't know how often they tried and failed and then finally got it right.
partial seems close to full suspension. In the sense that almost all of the bodies weight is needed to suppress atrial blood flow to pass out swiftly. that's at least my experience.

I also think it's a commitment issue. If your time is up and you really want to go, you'll follow through even if it's uncomfortable. In the case of a few celebrities I've researched who have died this way, I find it hard to believe that they were sitting in their rooms nightly, practicing how to make it as comfortable as possible. Lots of times, it's spur of the moment and impulsive so I assume no practicing is involved in a lot of these cases.

Use a knot which tightens as you drop (etc. noose knot). Before dropping, tighten the knot as tight as humanly possible with your hands. After dropping, the noose will further tighten to a very uncomfortable point (you don't need full bodyweight for this). If the noose placement is correct, you'll pass out within 5 to 10 seconds. I've done it several times and would have departed if it weren't for my reflexes kicking in and quit at the very last moment.

Which position and placement did you used?

Placement: above trachea
Position: I used several; sitting, kneeling, leg bending. Doesn't really matter as long as you're dropping and using gravity to finish the job.

What do you mean dropping? Do I have to let go of my whole weight?I'm doing partial?you said you don't need full body weight for this

Partial is really only suited for someone 100% committed to the act because it can be stopped, pretty much, anytime. It's certainly hard in that respect.

Partial is difficult because only those at the end of their rope (pun intended) can put most, if not all of their weight quickly and lose consciousness within seconds just like full. I guess to bypass this you can use this method where you use a ring to position at the middle of the neck so that your neck doesn't get crushed and only your carotid arteries get compressed: https://archive.ashspace.org/ash.xanthia.com/suspension.html?
If done correctly it would be a peaceful method, but it's really complicated, as most people don't even know how to loop the knot around the ring, as it is said in the guide.

You're right. You do NOT need "full body weight" for this at all!!!!!! I don't think the amount of pressure is too important as much as it is the exact location on both sides of your individual neck. Once you find the location, the amount of pressure can be practiced and at least for me, it doesn't take much! Everybody has different neck sizes. I'm small (not sure if that helps) but once I found my sweet spot, it's like fucking heaven on Earth!!!!!!!šŸ¤¤

When I attempt partial, I easily used my legs to get up. And because I am short, I am way too close to the ground. I don't know if it was my method as a whole, but I remember sitting at praying for it to work as a full song or two played through my headphones. And I just couldn't get it right, I felt like I was running out of time before my ex came back and I didn't want him to walk in on the attempt but I also didn't want to stop. So I called the hotline, got admitted and still got no help....yay.
