  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I'm on day 2 and I actually feel good? Last night was really bad; I relapsed and self harmed after three weeks. This morning I feel....okay. actually okay.

Not expecting this to last, but it's kind of nice. I'm not even dreading work tomorrow lmao.

** okay, now I know why I felt good. I accidentally took 30mg instead of 10mg and my other med. Didn't pay any attention and took a 20mg dose instead of my other med. Lol....

To fight depression urgently, it wasn't bad when I trialed Paroxetine last month. However, it became near impossible to orgasm (it's the worst SSRI of it's kind regarding this field) and kills the libido.
Now I don't need it anymore. Other natural stuff (B3 + Lions Mane + psilocybin = Stamet's staking) I take do the job better with no negative sides ...felt. But I won't endorse it for safety, especially vitamin B3 since there are forms more or less harmful in - poorly studied - large doses, up to be fatal within a couple months (liver failure & less so stomach deterioration, which could require organ transplant). If B3 Niacin is sought, then no mistake should be made, the Nicotinic acid version, instant release, is the safest. Avoid it as Niacinamide and/or in extended / sustained release. And take the least amount. 15g-20g per day is the target through normal diet. I'm at 250g whereas the dangerous amount ranges between 1-2g to 6g daily (usually prescribed as a medical treatment lol). When my tolerance has established, I will drop to 100mg (where I started) again and probably won't experience any flush anymore.

Initially, I thought it was the magic truffles which were acting the most, but by modulating my intakes, I realised it was likely the innocent B3 in my case. Prolly cause I was defficient too, since it is contained mostly in all the meats and I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian principally, when not vegan, so I must have been under the daily recommended dose. I will test my B3 levels under supplements in a month to verify they're not over the roof.

Overall, found it VERY interesting cause I had never heard about it. B3 Niacin also "repairs your DNA" as well as

The info I read surprised me. I knew that vitamin defficiencies could fuck you up (B12 for vegans) but I didn't really think before, that the logic could be extended to probably a lot more base vitamins

After reading about all this, who knows if having it in excess helps ? The science is a lot unexplored.
Personally, for the past 10 days, I have been on B3 + Lions Maine strictly (for organisation matters only), and felt as good as with shrooms plus Paroxetine. Actually better, cause no bad sides of the anti-depressant

if taking too much medicine worked, would asking the doctor to up the dose be an option?

I'm feeling cautious tbh. It works now, but it could poop out super quickly, assuming this isn't a placebo effect.

I'm going to go up in a few days, just taking a starting dose for now.

I'm not a doctor, and I don't want to discourage anyone from something that's helping, but be very careful with paxil. Taking it was one of the worst experiences of my life. After a few weeks of bad side effects, I went off it and experienced horrendous withdrawals, despite my doctor telling me the risk of dependence was low and any withdrawal symptoms would likely be mild. I later talked to a European friend of mine who works in neuroscience, and she told me her country had stopped prescribing paxil years ago because it had led to so many murder-suicides. :notsure:

I've never had a good experience with an SSRI, but none of the others came close to being as bad as paxil.
