• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I was originally going to use an argon hose. But last night I realized both the area for the hose on the regulator and the hose itself are both male (meaning they both stick out). I also looked at other pieces it came with, nothing would work. I'm going to have to use a different kind of tubing. And considering my date is tomorrow, I don't have time to order anything. I thought of maybe using one of those fish tank tube things. https://www.chinahao.com/product/39832978491/ I can get it at the local store.
What are your thoughts? And what are you using?

Is this the Harbor Freight regulator? If so, it is the one I have. I used a few feet of basic, hardware store clear vinyl tubing fitted onto the hose barb that comes with the regulator. Pretty much any tubing will do. If the hose with the male end will fit onto the barb, you could just cut the metal fitting off the hose and fit it onto the barb instead.

That said, check to see if the male end on the regulator is a fitting that can be unscrewed out of the regulator body. If you can remove the fitting, the threaded male hose-end may simply screw directly into the regulator body.

Thanks man. I have the same regulator and realized it might just be easiest to go with the vinyl tubing. Do you think vinyl tubing that is used for fish tanks will work? Or should I go to the hardware store and get some?

Edit: It also looks like none of the local hardware stores have them available. (I live in a small area). So fish tubing might be my only option... hoping it will be good enough quality?

I suspect fish tubing is all I have. Hell, I just bought what was on the roll and cheap.

I can't see why it wouldn't work. Just take the hose barb with you, so you know what size tubing to buy.

I'd say "happy to help", but I'm going to miss you when you're gone. I know you need to find peace, though, so... Good luck.
