I have semi-frequent nightmares, and just now I was having one. Won't describe it or anything but it was mainly a social one with some body dysmorphia added in for an extra fuck me. Then, soon after it started, I realized I was going to CTB soon, so everything happening to me didn't matter. I calmed down, the scene faded to a general white, and I woke up. I've never managed to deal with a nightmare before, they normally just suck, but for once I actually managed to stop one by remembering that nothing that could happen to me will matter soon. It's kind of sad how much better I've felt since I set plans to CTB, not actually good mind you, just all more muted, as it's kind of hard to have stress or anxiety attacks when I know it'll all be okay in just a couple weeks. I feel like I should be having nightmares ABOUT my death now that it's coming, but in the face of everything else I have to live through it just seems so comfortable in comparison.
