• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I had to go see my gp re stomach issues etc.

Anyway. I was there almost an hour (50 mins) so you know in uk that's a lot. He was lovely though.

Ended up him being concerned re my mental health. Didn't want me to leave the surgery. He called the crisis team when I was there who said I'd get call back (the team he called finished at 5. No one called).

He also contacted the police. So when I left I went to a supermarket. Had a missed call. The police ended up coming to see me in the supermarket carpark. Embarrassing!

They said they were happy with me and ok but they had been to my home and saw a belt I have hanging from my door. They wanted to come to my home and take it. I said no Thankyou.

I'm now stressing out that someone is gonna come to my home. It's hard.

I don't know why this escalated. I hope that's it for the day and tomorrow. I just want quiet.

Sorry this happened. Nothing to be embarrassed about. The police could've been talking to you about anything. And people are so into their own lives that most, if not everyone, probably didn't even notice. 🤗

Oh gosh, that's terrifying. Police really shouldn't be the go-to for mental health concerns, especially by a doctor!

But I don't want any intervention so I couldn't say that

Thankyou. Yes it's awful. I'm worried they're gonna come to my home. So I will be up all night.

I don't know what I said that triggered this. I need to be 😃 whenever they see me. I'm all good. I won't tell them about my need to ctb
I'm think I might od tonight. 180+ pills. It's should work right?

Some people, in my country at least, are into the idea of suicide by cop. Not my cup of tea, but seriously - what are they doing being that invasive in your life.

I'd guess our (unarmed) police were covering themselves because a GP made a formal report to them about a potentially unstable patient he/she believed was actively considering suicide.
If they took no action and the patient ctb, every mainline newspaper and a shedload of politicians would be virtue signalling by demanding that something be done. Actually, unless the OP was really acting in an unstable or erratic manner they have very little authority to do much.

Yea my doctor did say if I died and he didn't do anything he'd lose his job etc. I'm just glad the police believed me and I'm alone now
They did say they were going to put a referral in. Not sure what that means.

Anyway I e not heard anything h today so I'm happy.

I think I'm just gonna od on my 186 pills I have. They might take a few days for me to die. But I feel like I need too

From where I am, between the GP stating the suicide concern and the police seeing the belt which is easily read as a ctb plan, they have legal right under section 17 of the mental health act to 'judge' if you require psychiatric assessment. When OPP showed up at my door, as nice as they were I knew their 'suggestion' to go with them wasn't a choice. But the calm demeanour and right words can work miracles.
