  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

This usually happened to me at school. I had a couple of friends and at first, it was fun to hang out with them, but after a while, because of my depression, stress, and other factors, I started to distance myself from them at times. The moments that were supposed to be fun became boring and uncomfortable. I would apologize later, and they would forgive me happily, but I still felt a certain weight on me because of the things I would say to them in the heat of the moment due to stress.

In situations like this, I would just apologize for my behavior.

However, there were other times when I went out alone on the streets, and for some reason, whenever I saw happy people out there, enjoying life and having good times together, I felt a certain envy, because these people had seemingly normal lives, while mine was not. So, when I returned home, I felt depressed, wishing for something to get better, but I didn't know where to start, and for me, the only solution was to die.

I'm currently trying to recover, but I can't guarantee anything.

yep. for me it was just another result of depression. it started to bleed into everything i did. honestly im not sure how i got out of it (even though i do experience it from time to time). i guess you gotta focus on what good is happening during your time w them. try taking a minute in the bathroom. if you smoke, take a smoke break. get some fresh air. sometimes we need a little reset on our brains. like a refresher almost.

All the time.

At the moment, my hangouts with friends are almost certainly not the last, so the sadness isn't strong, knowing I can see them again. But I can relate with the initial feeling. It's more of a disoriented kind of sadness, like being tipsy without alcohol, yearning for more but it's all over.

Sometimes, if it's not super late I'd still text them after we seperate and exchange photos and call until it's time to sleep or other life's tasks get in the way. It takes the edge off of loneliness afterwards, even if it isn't completely eliminated. Kinda like an epilogue.

Most times I socialise I feel low after. I figure it's like the comedown after taking drugs, except they are the feel good chemicals my brain makes instead. I say this because a lot of non-depressed people have told me they get similar. They say it usually has to be a big event or specially good time, but I get out so little it doesn't take so much

The last time I hung out with someone was a few months ago and the whole time I was just thinking I wanted it to be the last time I ever saw him and afterwards I just wanted to kill myself ASAP
